MDA Ambulance Corps – Magen David Adom Volunteer Program *Yochai Porat*

Ages 18 – 25                                                                                                             

Training is included, no previous medical experience required – spend 2 months gaining hands on firt-aid and emergency care experience in Israel.  The Magen David Adom (Israeli Ambulance Corps) provides first-aid services throughout Israel and works with its volunteers to provide effective initial treatment.  The MDA Volunteer Program, run in conjunction with the Jewish Agency, allows you to be a part of this mission.  It gives university students an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience, giving first-aid care, while experiencing “real life” in Israel.

OTZMA  - Jewish Agency for Israel and United Jewish Communities

This is a service-based leadership development program offering young adults ages 20-26 the unique opportunity to contribute and acquire an in-depth understanding of Israel and the Jewish people.  Participants gain an “insiders” perspective while working and learning in three consecutive and distinct tracks, including immigrant absorption, areas of urban renewal, social service work experiences and Kibbutz. 

This is a 10 month programs which takes you all around Israel.  The three consecutive tracks are woven together by an education program where participants delve deeply into both the history and contemporary life of Israel and the Jewish people.
